It hits all the right notes: creamy from the mayo, sharp from the mustard, sweet from the honey, and a clean heat from the hot sauce.

- Mayonnaise: This is your base. It makes everything creamy and helps the sauce cling to crispy chicken.
- Honey: Brings sweetness and that classic honey mustard flavor. Use a mild, runny honey.
- Mustard: I don’t use just one. I mix: Dijon for sharpness, Sweet mustard for balance, Stone ground for texture. This combo gives way more depth than using just one type.
- Hot sauce: I use Valentina Hot Sauce. It’s mild, slightly tangy, and doesn’t overpower the sauce.
- Salt + black pepper: Just enough to bring everything together.
How to Make Hot Honey Mustard Sauce

- Add everything to a bowl
- Whisk until smooth and fully combined
- Taste and adjust salt and pepper
- Serve right away or chill for 30 minutes for better flavor

How to Store Leftover Hot Honey Mustard Sauce
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for about 1 week.
