About Forking Flavorful
We’re Jacqueline and Erika Piper, a Canadian mother-daughter duo on a mission to make sure your favorite dish is forking flavorful.

Jacqueline
Recipe Developer, Photographer, and Full-Time Sauce Enthusiast
I’m a Canadian food blogger with over a decade of experience working in restaurants and another decade of first-hand experience creating from-scratch recipes that rock for my first website, Pipercooks. I also share mostly plant-based dishes on My Plant-Based Bowl.
I believe in strong seasoning, balanced bites, and figuring out what makes food actually taste good. I test recipes (again and again), write them all out in a way that makes sense, and photograph food that practically yells “eat me”. You’ll find me making beautiful loaves of bread from other cuisines or obsessively refining a copycat recipe until it’s just right.
Fun Fact: Toast is my favorite food group, and there can never be enough hot sauce.

Erika Piper
Recipe Creator, Professional Taste Tester, Bread’s #1 Fan
I’m here to bring the fun and flavor. I love food that’s wild, extra, and over the top. With years of restaurant experience, I create food that’s dramatic, and just a little unhinged, like corn and cheese in my ramen or savory pastries with layers and layers of crispy, flaky phyllo dough. I’m here for the extra ladle of gravy, the third layer of cheese, and more whipped cream than the strawberries.
I develop vegetarian (and some vegan – check out The Veggie Yaya) recipes, test every idea (even our questionable ones), and keep our food ideas as bold as possible. If it’s got crunch or cheese, I probably made it.
Fun Fact: I’ve taste tested 6 different chip dips in one sitting. For work.

Because if it’s not forking flavorful… why are we even here?

🔥 Truffle Mayo From Scratch
Homemade mayo is so simple to make using our easy 30-second immersion blender method. Add just enough earthy truffle oil, and I will tear the kitchen apart looking for something to dip into this silky truffle mayo!

🔥 Crispy Eggplant Parm Sandwiches
Crispy breaded eggplant slices, smothered in tomato sauce and topped with melty cheese. You’re hooked, too, right?Stuff it all onto some soft bread and this is a winner every time for me. Crunch, cheese, bread, no need to say more.
